Oran Earnest Colley
1912-1996
Oran Earnest Colley was born January 18, 1912 in Texas to
John Aaron Graphon & Myrtle Jane Lough Colley. November 26, 1941 he married
Maude Inez Johnson in Sebastian County, Arkansas. Both being residents of
Huntington, Sebastian Co., Ar.
October 16, 1940 Oran registered for the Military draft in Prairie
Township, Sebastian Co., Ar. July 13, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army at
Little Rock, Arkansas. He served until October 25, 1945. On his enlistment
paper he states he has a grammar school education and his civil
occupation was "Attendants, filling station and parking lots".
Oran Earnest Colley passed away March 17, 1996 at Huntington, Sebastian Co.,
Arkansas. His burial was in the Huntington Cemetery at Huntington, Arkansas.
