Carl Costello Clinton Jr.

Carl Costello Clinton Jr. was born June 6, 1918 in Upper Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Carl Costella, Sr. & Blanche Stephenson Clinton. December 25, 1943
he married Mary Lou Toni Butterly at Olkahoma City, Okla. They divorced
July 3, 1949. His second wife was Betty Kendall Weeks both of
Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
Carl enlisted in the US Army Air Corps July 29, 1940. He states he
had completed 3 years of collete and his civil occupation was "Occupations
in manufacture of automobiles". His actual service start was March 15, 1
941 and he served till November 29, 1945. His rank at that time was
Lt. Col. Much of his life story is told in all the newspaper clipings.
Carl Costello Clinton Jr. passed away August 11, 1994 with burial in
the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
