John Wadle Cheek, Jr. was born October 8, 1918 at Fayetteville-Talladega Springs,
Arkansas to John Wadle "Jack" Sr. & Bertie Lee McIntosh Cheek.
He married Winnie Elizabeth McIntire June 6, 1942 at Santa Anna, Texas.
John enlisted in the US Army January 6, 1941 and served until May 12, 1945.
He again enlisted in the military November 20, 1945 and served until November 19, 1948.
This time in the Air Force.
John Wadle Cheek, Jr. passed away October 29, 1989. His burial was in
the Fort Smith National Cemetery at Fort Smith, Arkansas.
