Amos Miller Cheek was born September 6, 1917 in Roger Twsp, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Harrison & Bessie Bertha Smith Cheek. No marriage record has been
found. On his Headstone Application it is signed by Mary Jane Cheek, wife.
Amos enlisted in the US Army August 27, 1941 and served till October 12, 1945.
He was in the 280Th Sig. Pigeon Co 2Nd Plattoon. More about this Platoon Pfc. Cheek

Amos Miller Cheek passed away April 24, 1966 at Little Rock, Pulaski, Arkansas after
accidental electrocution. His burial was in Steep Hill Cemetery, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
