Loyd David Caton was born March 25, 1917 in Franklin Co., Ar. to David Lafafeet & Matilda Ann Smith Caton.November 12, 1905 he married 16 year old Matilda A. Smith in Vesta, Franklin Co., Ar. where they resided. Loyd registered for the miitary draft October 16, 1940 at Porterville, Tulare Co., California. He enlisted in the US Army April 6, 1943 in Fresno, California. He states he has 2 years of high school education. Loyd passed away August 19, 1976 at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar.
