Hickory Twsp, Carroll Co., Ar. to Jesse Jackson Sr. & Eliza Eva Eujean
Shibley Buell. January 26, 1936 he married Jetta Rosetta Gage
from Van Buren, Crawford Co., Ar. The marriage license was from Sebastian Co., Ar.
Jesse enlisted in the US Navy June 12, 1945 and served until April 15, 1946. No
other information about his service has been found.
"For SVB purposes, you are a World War II veteran if you Served in the active
military, naval or air service of the United States during World War II at any
time during the period beginning on September 16, 1940 and ending on July 24, 1947."
Jesse Jackson Buell, Jr. passed away January 4, 1996. His burial was in
Rose Lawn Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
