James Thomas "Jim Tom" Bonner 1910-1958
Jim Tom was born Nune 15, 1910 in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. tp
Thomas Jefferson & Rhonda Ellender Dearmore Bonner. He married
Minnie Pearl Sanders in April 1929 and had 7 children. The license was dated April 27, 1929.
The marriage was in Sebastian Co., Ar. According to another researcher they divorced
and he later married Eldora Babb October 10, 1944. She had 2 children from her previous marriage.
Jim Tom registered for the military draft October 16, 1940. He was working in a coal
mine in Scott Co at that time. He gives his mother as his contact. He enlisted
at Little Rock, Ar on July 16, 1942. He states he is separted from his wife with
dependents. He served with Co C 90th Inf Training Batt at Camp Roberts, California
He served until April 26, 1945. After the war he again worked in
the coal mines and later was a painter.
James Thomas Bonner passed away September 16, 1958 at Fayetteville, Washington Co., Ar.
His burial was at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
