James Thomas "Jim Tom" Bonner was born June 15, 1910 at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Thomas Jefferson & Rhoda Ellender Dearmore Bonner. April 27, 1929 he married Minnie Pearl Sanders from Subiacco, Logan Co., Arkansas. The marriage was in Sebastian Co. They divorced August 31, 1944 in Logan, Northern District, Arkansas. October 10, 1944 he married Eldora Mae Babb Green of Weatherford, Parker, Texas. The marriage was in Sebastian Co., Ar.

Jim Tom registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Scott County, Arkansas. He enlisted in the US Army July 16, 1942 and served until April 26, 1945. He served with Co. C 90th Infantry Training Battilion. Nothing more is found about his service.

James Thomas Bonner passed away September 16, 1958 at Fayetteville, Washington Co., Ar. His burial was in Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.

Jim Tom was the son of Thomas Jefferson Bonner and Rhoda Ellender Dearmore Bonner. He worked the coal mines, then became a painter. He was a Tec 4, Co C, 90th Ark inf during WWII. He married Minnie Pearl Sanders April 26, 1929 in Sebastian Co. Ar.They had 7 children. They divorced. Jim Tom later married Eldora Babb .Oct 10, 1944 in Sebastian Co. Ark. Eldora had two sons from a former marriage.
