Columbus Mulgro "C.M." Bonner, Jr. was born March 14, 1917 in Sugar Loaf Twsp.,
Sebastian Co., Ar. to Columbus Mulgro Sr. & Myrtle O'Dell
Hickerson Bonner. October 3, 1939 he married Carmelita Sullivan, both
being residents of Milton, LeFlore Co., Oklahoma at that time. The marriage
took place in Crawford Co., Ar.
C. M. registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at Oklahoma City, Okla.
He enlisted in the US Army March 24, 1944 and served until January 27, 1946.
Nothing more is found about his time in the service.
Columbus Mulgro Bonner, Jr. passed away January 17, 1978 in Texas. His
burial was in Childress Cemetery, Childress, Childress Co., Texas.
