J. D. Blount was born November 29, 1921 in Johnson Co., Arkansas to Lourinze Green
& Nannie Mytle Young Blount. He married Dorothy Jane Layne April 1, 1948 in
Sebastian Co., AR. His residence was Fort Smith and she was from Hartford.
The divorced May 26, 1958 in Sebastian Co., Ar.
J. D. enlisted in the US Army November 27, 1974 at Little Rock, Arkansas
and served until December 7, 2945. On his enlistment he states he has a grammar
school education. He was still living in Johnson Co at that time.
J. D. passed away August 3, 1974. His burial was at Hartford Memorial Park in
Hartford, Sebastian Co., Ar.
