Joe Lonzo Berry was born June 26, 1918 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
James Joseph & Mary Magdlen "Maggie" Dallas Berry. November 25, 1939
he married Mary Hattie Berry at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar.
October 16, 1940 Joe registered for the military draft at Belle Grove School in
Fort Smith, Arkansas. April 8, 1944 he enlisted in the US Army and served until April 4,
1946.
Joe Lonzo Berry passed away May 31, 2002 with his burial in the Fort Smith
National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
