Oran Lee Bartlett was born July 30, 1926 at Hackett, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Woodford Levi & Iva Mae Giles Bartlett. May 4, 1947 he
married Marie Elizabeth Werschky from Fort Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar. His
residence was Hackett, Ar.
According to his biography below he enlisted in the US Army October 11, 1944.
He re-enlisted December 21, 1945. His rank was Pfc at that time. A discharge date
from that enlistment has not been found. His final rank was Tec5. On the 1950 census he is living in
Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. with his wife and son.
Oran Lee Bartlett passed away January 18, 2018. His burial was in
the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. No photo of
his headstone has been found.
