James Edward Alverson was born May 6, 1922 at Barling, Sebastian Co., Ar. to
Patrick "Pat" Henry & Ethel F. McAlister Alverson. February
18, 1951 he married Diane P. Ceppaglia at San Luis Obispo, Claifornia.
June 30, 1942 James registered for the military draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co.
Ar. September 15, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock, Arkansas.
He states he has completed 4 years of high school and his civil occupation is "farm
hand". He served until January 2, 1946.
James Edward Alverson passed away May 3, 1980 at Fresno County, California.
