Cleve Joseph Allen was born December 5, 1914 in Moffet, Sequoyah, Oklahoma to Thomas & Nancy Jane Yount Allen. March 13, 1937 he married Lexine Clayborn at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. where both were residents. Cleve registered for the military draft October 16, 1940 at the Belle Grove District in Ft. Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. He enlisted in the US Army September 6, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkamsas. He states on his enlistment that he has a grammar school education and his civil occupation is painter. Nothing more is known about his time in the service. In June 1943 he is an employee of the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Co., His residence was Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Cleve Joseph Allen passed away June 29, 1956 at Los Angeles County, California. His burial was in the Little Lake Cemetery at Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles Co, California.
