Charles "Charley" Ellwood Thompson 1896-1935 Charley was born July 20, 1896 in Jackson County, Missouri to Hezekiah "Ki" & Lennie Magunigil Thompson. He married Rowena Hamilton October 7, 1925 in Sebastian Co., Ar. both bing residents of Bonanza, Sebastian Co.,Ar. Charles enlisted in the US Army April 20,1917 and served until March 21, 1919 with the 1st Arkansas Div. Co. D 15th Infantry as a Pvt. Charles passed away December 11,1935 with his burial being in Mtn. View Cemetery at Bonanza, Sebastian Co.,Ar.
