November 1, 1919 he had a marriage license to marry Ruby S. Landis in Sebastian Co., Ar. No other dates has been found. On April 26, 1938 he married Edna Arrington of Foreman, Little River, Arkansas. His residence at that time was there also. Newt Newt passed away August 12, 1968. His burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at London, Rusk Co., Arkansas.
