William Allen Bowden 1894 - 1981 William Allen Bowden was born August 3, 1894 at Russellville, Pope Co., Arkansas to John Arnold & Mida Elmira Keeton Bowden. His first marriage was February 22, 1919 to Edna L. Brown at Clark, Indiana. January 23, 1937 he married Mae Harmon in Sebastian Co., Ar. His residence was Bonanza, Sebastian Co. and her residence was at Cavanaugh, Sebastian Co. October 18, 1943 he married Ardith Boruisasky in Sebastian Co. Their residences were at Rock Island, Leflore Co., Oklahoma. They divorced February 24, 1942. His last marriage was to Edna Lea Brown. No date for that marriage has been found. William registered for the military draft June 5, 1917 at Sebastian Co., Ar. He was living at Midland, Sebastian Co., Ar. at that time. He enlisted in the US Army July 26, 1918 and served until February 15, 1919. Nothing more is known about his service. William passed away January 28, 1981. His burial was in Liberty Cemetery at Greenwood, Sebastian Co., Ar.
