Andrew J. Hannah was born abt. 1845 in Mississippi. to Samuel Wright & Rebeckah Marie Gilliam Hannah.
Sometime before 1860 the family moved to Center Township, Sebastian Co., Ar.
Andrew enlisted with the Confederate Army Octobr 28, 1863 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar.
He served as a PVT with Co D 35th Regiment Arkansas Infantry. Andrew was wounded July 4, 1863 at Helena, Arkansas and died of his wounds.
His widow applied for a pension in 1889.
