PHABY/PHEBY
I am looking for any record of my great grandparents, Thomas PHABY and Nancy Brown COOK. My Grandfather, John James PHABY, b 3-15-1880, in Laclede County, MO. Information on his parents was obtained from death certificate. Possible alternate spelling of surname is PHEBY. PHABY family moved to Baxter County, Arkansas. John PHABY married Clara FOUT in Baxter County 7-4-1903. PHABY family moved south to Jackson County to small community, Estico, and then moved back north to Hoxie. John PHABY had at least one sibling, Belle, married in Baxter County 8-11-1905 to Walter CALLOWAY. A Mary A. PHABY, b. 1838 d. 1905, is buried in Oak Forest Cemetery, Lawrence County. Unknown whether this Mary PHABY is related, but probably is because of unique spelling of surname. Please help, if possible, to locate info on my great grandparents. 1900 Fox Dr. Ste. Also listed in the 1870 Pulaski County, GEORGIA census is a Mary Dent, age 17, whom I believe to be the sister of Zachariah. I have good information on the Dent family before this "gap" in research. RICHEY
I have traced my RICHEY family to Gideon B. Richey, born 1820, in Indiana and his wife, Lucinda, born 1824, also in Indiana.
They had five children all born in Arkansas: Mary born 1846, Margaret born 1847, John born 1851, Joseph P. born 1855 and William born 1857. Gideon, his wife and two oldest daughters are in the 1850 Arkansas, Lawrence County census. Lucinda is listed as the head of household for the 1860 and 1870 Arkansas, Lawrence County censuses. I don't know what happened to Gideon during these two censuses. However, I have discovered a Lawrence County Arkansas Federal Land Record for Gideon B. Richey for 1885. Joseph P. born 1855 was my great grandfather. His son, John W. was my grandfather. John W. had a twin brother Jasper Newton and they were born May 1878.
In addition to Gideon B. Richey, other Richey families from Indiana
listed in the 1870 Arkansas Lawrence County census were: David L. Richey born 1826, Hamilton W. Richey born 1824 and James D. Richey born 1834. I assume that these families are related but have not confirmed this since I only became aware recently that Gideon was my great great grandfather.

I am seraching for burial information on John Hamby and his wife Bradbrook. He died around 1847. His daughter Mariah Hamby married David R Smith. She died in Powhatan, Lawrence Co., AR around 1870. David died 1881. Since his daughter lived in Lawrence Co., I'm
assuming John and Bradbrook lived with her, but could have been buried in Randolph Co.

WEBBER/OWENS
We are seeking any information on the mystery man of my family, my paternal Grandfather, Calvin Frank WEBBER, born 21 March, 1844 in WASHINGTON,Arkansas. We don't know which of the Washingtons in Arkansas that is; the County of that name, one of the two Towns or of the thirteen Townships in the state, even a parent county. At any rate I do know from the family bible that his mother's given name
was Nancy and that on the 16th of August, 1876 he married Matilda Frances (Fannie) OWENS in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. She was born 9 Feb, 1859 in Mena delivered most of the nine children she bore to Frank in Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, died 9 Apr, 1912
back in Mena and was buried in the same Owens Chapel Cemetery outside Mena, where Frank was buried after his death 16 Aug, 1900. We know a good deal about most of their descendants, but nothing more of Grand-dad. If you could enlighten us on any point concerning this mystery man, the entire WEBBER family will be eternally grateful, and I thank you.
