She had a brother, Jack ("John Jackson" Horton, b. 1886) who married Annie Madden; Jack farmed around Strangers Home (Alicia) and Hoxie, where he died in 1964. Jack and Annie married in Sharp County. In 1901, Birtie married Louis F. Dalton in Sharp County, and I believe they moved back to Lawrence County at some point. I would really appreciate anyone who can lead me to any descendants, and/or who can tell me anything about Birtie and Louis. Thanks for any help at all!

I was at the local library and they had an 1880 Census from LDS. It didn't show any Kollock family in Walnut Ridge. So I am wondering if there was a mistake in his birth place. My grandmother Edna Annis KOLLOCK says in her delayed birth certificate that she was born in Walnut Ridge July 16, 1897. So I think that is acurate. Her mother Martha COX was supposedly born in Sarcoxie, Jasper Co., MO around 1873. She died around 1912 when grandmother Edna was 15 yrs old. The family was supposed to have spent most the time in Walnut Ridge. So I will trying to find where Martha (COX) KOLLOCK was buried and James Lawton Kollock. He was a conductor on the Railroad.

One was a conductor, also. The other a telegrapher. There is some confusion as to which one was which. The sons are Amos KOLLOCK who eventually settled in Kingsville, Texas and was believed to be the eldest child. The other son, Walter KOLLOCK settled in Fitzgerald, Georgia and was married to an Eva ?. The only other sister was Laura KOLLOCK who married a James ALEXANDER. They had a son Jimmy ALEXANDER and a daughter Lavelle ALEXANDER. Lavelle married a Mr. KASTING and settled in Bridgewater NJ. Her Mother Laura and father James lived in the Tulsa OK area as the husband is buried in Tulsa with son Jimmy. The aged and ill Laura was taken to Bridgewater NJ. We assume she has now passed and is buried there. The local cemetery doesn't have her. The second daughter was Edna Annis KOLLOCK who was born in Walnut Ridge, Ark on July 16, 1897. She married Theodore Thomas HAYNES in Hartman Arkansas around 1914. They settled in Alsuma OK near Tulsa, OK and had Ralph William Haynes in 1916. Myers purchased the land where the Bosler School was located near Lauratown, Arkansas in Lawrence Co. He sold the property to an E. W. Myers family. My husband and I now own this property and are trying to locate information about the 6 graves on our property. I have learned to date that they were a family of Myers that are buried here. I am trying to restore the information on the cemetery for the history of our county. The mouments were removed many years before we purchased the property, if anyone could give me information on what happened to the monuments or who the individual names of the Myers family that are buried here it would be greatly appreciated. If any information is known about the cemetery, it could be sent to me in total confidence. The family of E. W. Myers purchased the property in 1894, in a later deed record for the property states his wife was Alpha M.Myers(later married a McCall, a son v. Myers(later records show S. V. Myers and his wife Lucy Myers)as his only surviving heirs(1921)he had 3children altogether, a son, and a daughter has passed away by 1921 and may be at least two of the Myers family buried in the cemetery on our property.
