Every day
brings something different. Tragedy. Success. Death. Life. We've been chroniclers of events in our city, our county, our state and our world for 100 years. From our first newspaper, The Press, to the Paragould Daily Press of today, we have tried to inform our readers about people and events that shape our world. The approach to journalism has changed dramatically in the past 100 years as it no doubt will in the next 100!
|
And though the style of writing may change, on thing does not: A
newspaper's function is that of daily historian. Whether it is a photograph of a student's first day at school or a report on a 1-cent sales tax election, we have considered it an honor to serve and inform you. As we venture in to the next century we look forward to bringing Daily Press readers information, entertainment and history as it happens. Paragould Daily Press
