William Miller, 80, of Fordyce died Tuesday September 8, 2009 at St. John’s Place in Fordyce. Born November 29, 1928 at Ellisville, he was a son of the late Perry David and Natalie Miller. Mr. Miller was a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by two wives, Eddie Louise Crane Miller and Emma Jean Dison Miller; two sons, Roy Wayne Miller, Steve Edward Miller; three brothers, Ira L. Miller, Otis Miller, Carl Edward Miller, two sisters, Mary L. Raybon, Opal Thompson. He is survived by a daughter, Judy Lackey of TX; daughter-in-law, Kim Miller of Alabama; brother, Francis M. Miller and wife Elizabeth of Beirne, TX; two sisters, Martha Ellen Miller Marks of Kingsland, Marjorie Miller of Fordyce; six grandchildren, Gina Miller Adams and husband Arthur, Sheri Miller Walsh and husband Bryan, Jodi Miller Bowman and husband David, Jami Miller, Stephanie Miller, David Miller and wife Randi; seven great-grandchildren, Dylan and Ryan Walsh, Makenzie, Lexi. and Hunter Bowman, Austin and Cade Miller; fiancé Bobbie Dunlap of Fordyce and adopted family, Dena Trammell and husband Stacy, Eddie Dunlap and wife Brenda, Billie Gene Dunlap and wife Gwynne, Clint, Dylan, Kristen, Jeanna, Cara, Megan, Morgan, Zachary, Casey, and Conner. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery at Chambersville.
