Betty Lou Nutt, 75, of Fordyce died Monday, December 11, 2006 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born September 29, 1932 in Smithville, AR, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Vera Moore Turnbow. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, the Arkansas Assoc. of the Deaf, and the Pine Bluff Assoc. of the Deaf. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nutt. Survivors include one son, Ken Morley Nutt of Fordyce; two daughters, Patty Bruton of Little Rock, Nita Carpenter of Monticello; one sister, Bonnie Hinson of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren, Heath Hornaday, Zack Nutt, Blake Bruton, Amanda Bruton, and Kelsey Nutt. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating.
