Annie Ollison


Annie Willie Hunter Ollison, passed away the first week of July 2003.

Mrs. Ollison was born in Sparkman, in Dallas County to the late Mr. Joe S. and Mrs. Estelle Butler Hunter.

Survivors include her husband Raymond Ollison of Malvern, formerly of Gurdon.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 5, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, in Malvern, with Rev. Franklin D. Newborn, pastor officiating.

Annie Ollison


Annie Ollison was born March 4, 1919, in Dalark, Ark., to the parentage of the late Joe and Estella Hunter. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Annie Hunter was married to Raymond Ollison Sr. for 57 years. Annie was predeceased by her parents and children, Robert Carter, Charlene Hunter and Raymond Ollison Jr.; a granddaughter reared in the home, Valerie Hunter, and six siblings. Survivors are her husband, Raymond Ollison Sr. of Malvern; two daughters, Stella (Alvin) Murdock of Malvern, and Theresa (Ranger) Collins of Tuscon, Ariz.; two brothers, Joe Stevie Hunter of Arkadephia and Arthur (Helen) Hunter of Malvern; two sisters, Ruby Bradford of Malvern and Lucy LeGrande of Malvern; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, July 4, 2003, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Brandon's Mortuary, Malvern, Ark.
