ARKADELPHIA -- Clarence Amis, 95, of Arkadelphia died Dec. 4, 2002 at his home. He was born March 14, 1907, in the Shady Grove community in Dallas County, son of the late Paul Frances and Mary Caroline "Molly" Clifton Amis. He was a retired carpenter and a deacon and member of Park Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include: His wife, Nellie Selph Amis; a daughter, Carolyn Amis of Arkadelphia; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Blake McKinney, Rev. J.T. Harvill and Rev. Don Tollison officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Park Hill Baptist Church.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
