Janie Smith, 91, died March 1 in a local care center.

She was born Dec. 4, 1909, in Fordyce, Ark. A homemaker, she was an eight-year resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Four Dice Club.

She is survived by her son, Albert Harris; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Desert Memorial Cremation & Burial Society handled arrangements.
