Joel Cecil Castleberry

He was born March 20, 1862 in Bradley County, Arkansas. He died in 1946 at Farmville and was buried in Hickory Springs Cemetery, Bradley County. His father was Joel Castleberry who died in Memphis, TN. as a prisoner of war during the Civil War.

He was married three times:

First to Rhoda Colvin, born Dec. 15, 1858; died Dec. 1895.
They had five children -
Walter Lawfate (Lafayette), David Lee, Bessie, Minnie Bell, and Hattie E. Castleberry who married C. A. Bowman.

Second to Anna L. Spears on Dec. 5, 1900.
They had three children -
Bertie Jane, Gracie Lela and Joel Anice Castleberry.

Third to Annie N. Stedman on Jan. 20, 1909.
They had two children -
Clarence Green and Dorothy Angeline Castleberry.
