Harper School

This is Harper School c1895. Ida Gosnell was teacher. She married S.D. Turney in 1899. Harper School was on Blackjack Mountain about two miles south of downtown Romance. The Romance Church of Christ was originally located in this area. This photo was loaned to White County Historical Society president Bill Leach by Mrs. Merle Webb.
