He was a fiery redhead that was a long time resident of White County, Arkansas. His spouses were: Mary Jane Owens aka Molly and Sarah "Sallie" Walkup.

I was told by a grandniece of his that he was a cotton farmer in Floyd and took his cotton to the Walkup Brothers gin, this is how he met Sallie.
