Moore roots run deep in White County. These two Moore sisters married Busbea boys and lived north of Beebe in the Antioch area. They were daughters of Solomon Roe Moore (1828-1865) and Nancy Price (1832-1911) who were married in 1848. Elizabeth Ann Moore (left) was born in 1852 and died in 1932; Minerva Georgina Moore was born in 1855 and died in 1934. Elizabeth married Albert G. Busbea and Minerva married Pinkney Busbea, then following his death married a Bass. Another sister, Elizabeth Little Moore, married John R. Cotton. The photo was taken around 1929. Their grandfather Solomon Roe Moore was the son of William Moore, who was born in 1789. Their grandmother Nancy Price was the daughter of Russell Price (1790-1839) and Mary Turner Price (1790-1844) who were married in 1813. Russell was the son of Joseph Price (1760-1834) and Nicey Guthrie Price (1768-1844). Mary Turner was the daughter of John Turner (1765-1813) and Rebecca Turner (1765-).
