Welze Moore (left) and Pierce Rice follow their dog while quail hunting at Antioch nearly 100 years ago.   Pierce, the grandfather of Historical Society member Mary Reynolds, married Welze’s sister Ethel.  The photo is not dated but Welze died in 1912.  Note the rail fence.
