Funeral for Mayfield
Conducted Saturday
Fayetteville, Ark. Feb 1 – Funeral service was held
Saturday at Goshen east of here, for Lige Mayfield,
pioneer resident of Washington county, who died Friday
at the home of a sosn.  Burial was in Goshen cemetery.

Mr. Mayfield who was 94 years old had resided in
Washington county practically all of his live.  He
served in the Confederate army during the Civil war.
     Surviving are four sons, Green Mayfield, with
whom he made his home, George Mayfield and Jim
Mayfield, and two daughters, Mrs. George Neal and Mrs.
Bob Monroe.
