Below is an example of what you will find in an "Abstract of Title". Arkansas does not use these anymore, they use Title Insurance now....but there are still a lot of these out there if people have owned their land very long. These are wonderful tools for genealogist with wife's names, death dates sometimes and dates of buying and selling property.
