We Caleb Bost and M. B. Lefler acknowledge ourselves indebted to the state of Arkansas in the final sum of Four hundred ($400.00) dollars.

The foregoing obligation is upon this condition: Whereas the said Caleb Bost was on the 7th day of January 1902 duly appointed by the Clerk of the Probate Court of Van Buren County in vacation, Guardian or Curator of Nancy B. Rutherford, a minor under the age of 18 years.

Now, if the said Caleb Bost shall faithfully discharge as guardian aforesaid according to law than the above obligation is void: otherwise to be and remain in full force and effect.

To all to whom these presents shall come: Greetings:

To know ye that whereas Caleb Bost has on this day by the Clerk of Probate in vacation in and for the County of Van Buren been appointed Guardian for Nancy B. Rutherford a minor under the age of 21 years, by his entering into Bond to the State of Arkansas for the use of said minor in the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00). And whereas Caleb Bost has this day filed his bond in such sum to said minor, which Bond stands approved by the Court.

Now, therefore he the said Caleb Bost is hereby authorized empowered to collect and receive all moneys property and effects, that now an or hereafter may become due to his said ward and in general to do and perform all and singular the duties ___?_ing upon him as such Guardian by law or that may be ___ upon him by the law and order, sentence or decree of any Court having competent jurisdiction.

In Testimony whereof I A. B. Couch County Court and Clerk of the Probate Court at my office in and for the said county of Van Buren hereto set my hand and affix the seal of said court at my office at Clinton on the 7 day of January 1902.
