J. Herman Mathews Clerk of the circuit court and Exofficis Clerk of the County Court in and for the County of Van Buren do hereby certify that being called on by the sheriff of Van Buren County to correct an error in the Tax Book of said county for the year 1841 in the list of non-residents Lands taxed under the title of R.B. Lee, R.D. Collins & J.T. Jones, which has been corrected from W1/2 SW S24 to the W1/2 of the NW Sec 24. This is to request and authorize the auditor of public accounts to correct the error in the tax book filed in his office.
