Warner
Brown Cemetery |
The Warner Brown Cemetery, 201 South Hill Street in El Dorado, is on south side of First United Methodist Church. It was surveyed and transcribed by Dennis & Sandra Cameron on May 14, 1999 and contributed by them to the Union County ARGenWeb site.
Part of the original cemetery was "disturbed" for an addition to the church in 1956. Several graves are not marked and the cemetery trustees which consists of the church Deacons, donât have knowledge of a map or list of burials. It is not known what amount of damage was done to the graves when church addition was built. Warner Brown gave the land for the church and cemetery.
