SWEET HOME CEMETERY
Est.1892
Union County, Arkansas. Located off State Hwy. 275, southeast of Strong.
This
is a well
maintained cemetery, surrounded by a
chain link fence. Originally, the New
Prospect
Methodist Church organized by Rev. John Lambert Dopson was located across
the street
from the cemetery that was later established.
This area was known as the
community of
“Concord” in those days. Later the church and cemetery names
were changed
to Sweet Home. Just the cemetery still
exists.
