This is to certify that D. R. Haynes as minister of the gospel of the regular Baptist church did on the 13th day of Nov of 1853 celebrate the rites of matrimony between Jos. Howard aged 20 and Miss Matilda Lawrence aged 16 at the house of Mr. Samuel Dollar all of this County and State aforesaid this given under my (illegible) and signature day and date above mentioned.
