The body of Forrest Riffey, 52-year-old business man of Madison a victim of accidental drowning; was found about 8 a.m. Monday in the St. Francis River. Searchers recovered the body about 4 1/2 miles south of Highway 50 in the Burnt Cane vicinity, and about 50 yards from the trotlines. The river is swift, high and is filled with debris, and with willows which had grown up during low water season, officials said. It was 24 hours before she was rescued by four members of the family who drove to a point on the levee, when they became alarmed that the couple did not return. Mr. Riffey owned and operated the Riffey Insulation Co., in Madison, where he lived, and had announced as a candidate for county judge on the Republican ticket.
