WEBBER/OWENS
We are seeking any information on the mystery man of my family, my paternal Grandfather, Calvin Frank WEBBER, born 21 March, 1844 in WASHINGTON, Arkansas. We don't know which of the Washingtons in Arkansas that is; the County of that name, one of the two Towns or of the thirteen Townships in the state. At any rate I do know from the family bible that his mother's given name was Nancy and that on the 16th of August, 1876 he married Matilda Frances (Fannie) OWENS in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. She was born 9 Feb, 1859 in Mena delivered most of the nine children she bore to Frank in Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, died 9 Apr, 1912 back in Mena and was buried in the same Owens Chapel Cemetery outside Mena, where Frank was buried after his death 16 Aug, 1900. We know a good deal about most of their descendants, but nothing more of Grand-dad. If you could enlighten us on any point concerning this mystery man, the entire WEBBER family will be eternally grateful, and I thank you.

COCHRAN/GILLIAM
I recently visited a cemetery just off Hwy #167 on the Poukeepsee Rd near Evening Shade in Sharp Co looking for a possiable grave site of Amanda Cochran who died Dec. 30, 1878. she was related to the Cochran through her mother Elizabeth Cochran Gilliam. In the upper in of the cemetery just to the right of the road which splits the cemetery, I found W.D. 1864-1958 and Alice Wright Cochran 1857-1908. Just past their stone I found at the foot of Rosa Kent Runsick grave a small stone with a picture labled simply EATHER. This was my grandfather Gilliams name and a very unusual one. I feel there must be some
connection. The Cochrans would probably have been his( my Grandfather Eather Ivern Gilliams) Uncle and Aunts. Would any one have any information on these people ? The Amanda I was looking for would be his father Francis Marion Gilliams sister. Does anyone know who has the plat map to this cemetery or an older person who might be able to help me. If so please contact me. Jan Gillliam Reynolds 5116 Horn Lane Springdale, Ar 72764

BRAY
Trying to find father of Columbus N. Bray born 1856 in MO and moved to AR
In 1880 Census, he is listed with his mother (?) Avarilla Bray. His father is thought to be a John Henry Bray, who grew up in AR and moved to Missouri, then back to AR in 1859 bought 80 acres in Washington TWP, Sharp County. He
enlisted in Co. D 12th Battalion Arkansas Sharpshooters. Captured at Champion Hill June 1863, and transferred to prisoner of war camp at Fort Delware and
then to POint Lookout MD in October of 1863. Died of smallpox at Point Lookout November 27 1863. John Henry Bray was the only BRAY in Sharp County that I know of early in 1860's. I would like to find something conclusive that links John Henry Bray to Avarilla Bray, and to Columbus N. Bray. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it. 1010 Christmas Lane Gambrills, MD 21054
