"The Rush Family History"


The family history begins with Abraham Rush, Senior (born abt 1752), who immigrated to South Carolina about 1740. His descendants are well documented with: Census Records, Land Deeds, Estate Records, Church/Bible/Cemetery Records, Newspaper Articles, Military Records, County History Books, Who's Who of America and oral family history. Abraham had 10 documented grandchildren and the book contains the pictures of two of his grandsons: Rev. Leonard Rush and Carroll Bailey Rush (who's son, Alexander Walker Rush settled in Sharp County, Arkansas). All total there are 145 pictures dating from 1862-1950's of Abraham's descendants. There are 65 pages of family names who are cross indexed. Other surnames in the family are: Posey, Buchanan, Jenkins, Callahan, Benson, Belk, Goodroe, Powell, Taylor and Lee. The book is 5 x 7 hardback, with over 500 pages. There are about 60 books still available at $40.00 each, including shipping. To order send an Email to:
