Charles Eugene Metcalf was born March 7, 1947 in Midland, Sebastian
Co., Ar. to Tommie Elmer & Lois Angilee Hattabaugh Metcalf.
March 25, 1966 he married Nancy Marie Willet at Fort Smith,
Sebastian Co., Ar.
Charles tour of duty with the US Army began June 30, 1967. He was assigned
to Co 523 Trans Co, Regiment 18th Trans Grp. He was serving in
Pleiku when he was reported MIA, finally declared dead from
wounds caused bt light arns fire,
His assigned occupation was Light Vehicle Driver.
Charles' death date was listed as November 24, 1967.
Charles was buried in Woodlawn Memorial Park at Fort Smith,
Sebastian Co., Ar.
