April 21, 1967 he married Helen Marie Burlsworth at Fort Smith, Sebastain Co., Ar. They divorced August 24, 1967 in Boone Co., Ar. His 2nd wife was Phillis, maiden name not known. Eton served in Vietnam from 1955 - 1975 as well as the Persion Gulf in 1991 . His final rank was Sgt FC. ______________________________ SGT FC Eton Bearden June 19, 1942 ~ January 01, 2021 SGT FC Eton Bearden, 78, of Lavaca, Arkansas, entered into rest on Friday, January 1, 2021 in his home. He was born June 19, 1942, in Green Forrest. Arkansas. He was a former employee of Arkansas State Highway Department. Survivors include his wife, Phillis; three daughters, Tonia Rose, Katrina Decker and Crystal Melton; son, Shawn Bearden and nine grandchildren. Cremation under direction of Smith Mortuary, Charleston, Arkansas with a private burial of cremains at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
