Luther Mayes Weaver was born July 21, 1911 in Lavaca, Sebastian Co. Ar. to Bartus Mayes & Dora Ann McCreary Weaver. On the 15th of October 1967 Luther married Wilma Freda Wolff in Otange Co., California. On Oct 16, 1940 Luther registered for the draft at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co. Ar. On Oct 17, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock, Arkansas. Records show that Luther attained the rank of Sgt. in the service. In 1966 Luther is on the Orange Co., Calif. Voters Registration. His address was Palmya St. 339, Orange, Ca, and he was a Democrat. April 19, 1974 Luther passed away in Orange Co., California. His burial was at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar.
