Marshall Layman Taylor was born June 29, 1917 in Franklin Co. Ar. to
Edward Fanoy & Alice Lee Layman Taylor. By 1930 the family had
moved to Big Creek Twsp., Sebastian Co., Ar. On June 19, 1937, in Crawford
Co., Ar. Layman married Esta Lee Goldman of Fort Smith,
Sebastian Co, Ar.
Layman registered for the military draft on Oct. 16, 1942 and enlisted in the
US Army on Mar 16, 1944. There is little information about his military days.
He was discharged Oct 26, 1945.
Marshall Layman and wife made their home in Fresno, California after the war.
On December 5, 1993 Marshall Layman Taylor passed away in Fresno, Ca. and was
buried in Washington Colony Cemetery, Fresno County, California.
