Alfred Leroy Yarberro was born Aug 28, 1923 in Hope, Hempstead Co Ar. to William George & Viola Earl Yarberro. January 4, 1946 Alfred married Lorine F. Wilson from Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. Alfred enlisted in the US Army May 11, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas. On his enlistment papers he said he had a grammar school education and was a farm hand. Pvt Yarberro was discharged December 9, 1945. Nothing more is known about his service. He and his wife Lorene F. are listed in the 1953 Fort Smith City Directory as living at 815 N. 4th street. His occupation is "driver". In the 1957 City Directory they are residing at 2222 So. 6th street in the city. Alfred Leroy Yarberro passed away December 29, 1989. He is buried in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ar.
