Fred Yancey was born September 7, 1912 in Mansfield, Sebastian Co., Ar. to Henry Lee & Johanna Gist Yancy. He married Pauline Frizzell September 12, 1933. They both list their residece as Abbott, Scott, Ar. but the marriage was in Sebastian Co., Ar. His second wife, Margaret Irene Joss, he married on March 7, 1945 in King County, Washington. Fred registered for the military draft on October 16, 1940 at Baldwin Park, Los Angeles, California. He enlisted in the US Navy September 22, 1942 and served until October 10, 1945. Nothing more is found about his military service. Fred Yancey passed away Mach 13, 1980 in Puyallup, Washington. Have not located a photo or location of his marker.
