John Alfred Wilson was born March 5, 1922 in Poteau, Le Flore County, Oklahoma to
Vincent Arthur, Sr. & Daisy Mae Dietrich Wilson. John married
Mary Jean Wilson, marriagge date unknown.
June 20, 1942 John registered for the military draft at the Court House in Fort Smith, Sebastian
Co., Ark. On Novembere 23, 1942 he enlisted in the US Army at Little Rock, Arkansas, He states
he has completed 4 years of high school and he was divorced without dependents.
While serving his country John was taken prisoner by Germany and sent to a POW camp.
