Evan Towery Wilson was born April 10, 1903 in Altus, Franklin Co., Ar. to John Walter & Sidney Belle Towery Wilson. March 10, 1932 Evan married Laura B. Guess at Adair, Oklahoma. She also served in the military and has her own WWII page. Evan registered for the militaty draft February 16, 1942 at Fort Smith, Sebastian Co., Ar. June 18, 1942 he enlisted in the US Navy and served until 17 Oct 1945 His rank was MOMMI or Motor Machinist's Mate, 1st Class Petty Officer. Nothing more is known about his time in the service.
