May 14, 1934 he married Edith Pauline Seeton at Lavaca, Sebastian Co., Ar., both being residents there. Phillip registered for the miitary draft at Island, Sebastian Co., Ar. October 16, 1940. His enlistment date in the US Amry is unknown. Phillip passed away August 10, 2005 at Visalia, Tulare Co., California. His burial was in Visalia Public Cemetery there. .
